Sometimes accessibility options options offer some goodies too. In the first beta of IOS 5 there are custom vibration tones. This means a vibration on/off pattern that is used instead of just the steady default. I can see maybe it being useful for anyone in the right circumstance..
Once that options is on, within the Sounds screen you can choose presets.
