Connectors, knobs and buttons
Those two front buttons are like little joysticks, but move easily, they aren't "clicky", and a push in the center can be done for selecting. That push is firmer and clicks so you don't accidentally do it while wiggling the stick around. On the right side, you've got power, line in, line out (av stereo 1/16" jacks), headphones. Ther is also a menu button, which brings up the top menu if you hold it down, but it does little else since the software seems to not support it yet!
On the top there is a rocker for volume, compact flash type I slot, record, power, and usb door. Yes it's compact flash I, the cover is thick as to imply type II but open it and it's a thinner slot inside. Finally, on the bottom, is a slide switch with three positions: lock, normal, tv out.
